Nikki began working at Twin Rivers in January of 2024 as a Life Skills Trainer.

She accepted the position of Case Manager in April of 2024. Nikki has worked in healthcare for over 20 years. She has an associate degree in social work and has worked previously as a CNA, DSP and Case Manager.

Melinda Winegarner, Targeted Case Manager

Melinda began working at Twin Rivers in July 1997 and started in East Work Area in the workshop as direct care staff.

In July 2010, she took a promotional position in the Targeted Case Management department elsewhere. In July 2017, she came back to Twin Rivers. She has been working in the field of developmental disabilities since 1985 where she started at the Winfield State Hospital. Melinda enjoys working and helping the individuals and their families on her caseload.

As a Targeted Case Manager, Robin passionately advocates for the rights of all individuals with developmental disabilities.

Robin grew up in Wichita, Kansas, and graduated from North High in 1999. After completing high school, she embarked on a two-year journey across the United States, exploring thirty-four states.

Her educational journey took her to Cowley County Community College for two years before transferring to Wichita State University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in child development.

After spending 9 years as a stay-at-home mother Robin re-entered the workforce in 2015 as a Case Manager in child welfare. She later transitioned to working with individuals facing developmental delays and mental health challenges.

As a Targeted Case Manager, she passionately advocates for the rights of all individuals with developmental disabilities. Robin is thrilled to be part of the Twin Rivers community.

Support Services Secretary

Catheryn Joyce, Support Services Secretary

Catheryn Joyce has been employed at Twin Rivers as Support Services Secretary since November 1996.

She establishes and maintains all of the individual’s records as well as coordinating assigned projects; and compiling and distributing a wide variety of material and reports. She performs a variety of duties for all departments and keeps the Case Management department organized and running smoothly.

Catheryn graduated from Cowley College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Management and a Technical Certificate in Data Processing.

Registered Nurse

Lexi Perrett, Registered Nurse

Lexi began working for Twin Rivers in 2021, as the agency Registered Nurse. 

As the agency Nurse she serves as an advocate for the consumers’ medical needs.  She is responsible for teaching medication administration training to staff and oversees the medication administration.  In addition she completes wellness monitoring and tends to any medical needs of the consumers including communicating with physicians.  These are just a few of her job duties.

Most of her school years she attended in Arkansas City, however she graduated from Winfield High School in 2009, and then went on to receive her Associates in General Studies at Cowley College.  After having her first sons, she started her journey working with people with disabilities.  Pratt Community College has a program in Winfield at a Cowley campus site, which provides on campus nursing programs.  There, she attended classes for two more years to receive her Associates of Science in Nursing, as a Registered Nurse.

In 2015 she met her husband, Casey, and together they are raising three beautiful kids between the ages of almost 4 to 11 years old.  As a family, they like to spend time on the grandparents farm helping them with the animals, and going to the beach/camping out in the summers.  Lexi is excited to be starting this next chapter of her journey with Twin Rivers.
