Vocational Trainer

Description

This position is a full time position typically working a 40 hour work week (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 30 minute lunch period), Monday through Friday.  Hours may fluctuate depending upon the needs of the agency.

Will be responsible for assuming direct supervision, care and training of individuals with developmental disabilities in a vocational workshop setting.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.  Industrial experience and experience in working with the handicapped preferred.

Life Skills Trainer

Description

This position is a full time position typically working 32 hours a week.  Hours may fluctuate depending upon the needs of the agency.  LST’s work 7 days on and 7 days off.  Monday thru Friday 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m (midnight). and Saturday & Sunday 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Will be responsible for assisting individuals with developmental disabilities with daily life skills training and activities needed for integration into the community.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.  Prefer one year experience in working with adults who have developmental disabilities.

Community Living Trainer

Description

This position consists of working a 7-day on 7-day off shift and requires sleeping overnight. Primary Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the supervision of consumers in the community living program, social and community activities. This full time position provides insurance benefits, sick leave, vacation and holiday pay.

Qualifications

High School graduate or GED is required. Experience in working with the handicapped is preferred.

KBI, driver, ANE, KDHE and Medicaid fraud checks are completed on all employees. Drug testing will be done pre-employment and randomly. KDOT physicals are required for some positions. Overnight Support Staff

Description

This position is typically Mon-Fri, 12:00 a.m. (midnight) to 8:30 a.m. the next morning and Sat-Sun, 8:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.  This position may work 7 days on and 7 days off.  May do such duties as but not limited to laundry, meal preparation, shopping, personal care assistance and assist through night time hours as needed.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.  Prefer one year experience in working with adults who have developmental disabilities.
